March 21, 2012 -- A seige is under way at an apartment building in Toulouse, where a gunman suspected of killing seven people in southern France has been cornered. Mohammed Merah, 24 – a Frenchman of Algerian origin – has said he belongs to Al Qaeda and acted to "avenge Palestinian children". Graphic shows location of siege and of attacks.
