The Syrian Opposition's new National Coalition

A picture combo shows the newly elected head of the Syrian Opposition's new National Coalition, Muslim cleric Ahmed Moaz al-Khatib (C), female Syrian opposition figure Suhair al-Atassi (L) on November 11, 2012, and prominent dissident Riad Seif (R) on November 6, 2012 attending meetings during the General Assembly of the Syrian National Council (SNC) in Doha. Khatib, 52, a Damascus moderate who quit Syria three months ago, was elected head of the new grouping, with Seif and Atassi chosen as his deputies.
