أفريقيا: طريق القاهرة - كيب تاون 12,000km route road from the Cape to Cairo




Kenya's first modern highway, an eight-lane road linking Nairobi with the town of Thika has been opened. The highway forms part of the 12,000km route from the Cape to Cairo, first envisaged by British imperialist Cecil Rhodes in the 19th century. Graphic shows route of the Cairo-Cape Town Highway.
