January 19, 2015 -- The richest one percent of the world's population will own more than 50% of the world's wealth by 2016, according to the study by the charity Oxfam. The study, which warns of a widening gap between the world's richest and the rest, comes ahead of this week's annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
